A Keurig has been sitting under our Christmas tree for the past week. Tomorrow morning we are using it for the first time. I’m sooooo excited.

handmade k cup storage drawer

Look what I found! I know that there are “official” k cup storage drawers out there, but they don’t have the same charm as this one! It was handmade in Pennsylvania. And I am a huge believer in buying handmade.

This holder is built here in Pennsylvania, in my shop, using top grade Pennsylvania Red Oak.
This is made of solid red oak hardwood…not pine or pressed wood..and is already beautifully finished!
All holders this style and size will hold 36 K-cups and they measure 14 1/8” wide by 13 3/8” deep by 3 1/4” high
Top, sides and back are made of solid red oak, with birch ply bottom, poplar dividers and front trim.
This holder pictured is beautifully stained golden oak and finished with 3 coats of semi-gloss polyeurathane.
There are also thick felt pads on bottom to protect your counter and makes moving very easy.

A rather interesting column about coffee on NPR!
